Most people don't want to go out and spend 500 dollars on a satellite system and then deal with the headache of it going down every couple months. I've been there, I've got 4 satellites attached to my house right now. At first I went legit, and went with a legal system and paid the regular monthly fee and everything.
I was spending about 150 dollars a month watching all the great programming I wanted. But I got to a point were it was getting quite un-affordable. I mean I love television and the programming was great, but hey, who really wants to pay that much a month. Especially when you know all your neighbors are getting the same service for free. So then I went the other route and used my remaining system and hooked up free satellite service. I had a satellite guy come in and set up the receiver and everything, I was so happy because I didn't have to pay those monthly fees, and now I was getting even more channels. I paid the guy 400 bucks to do the install; this included the cost of the receiver. But then more headaches came my way. Every couple of months the system would get zapped and my satellite would be down. I would have to call my satellite guy and get him to come fix it. Sometimes it was simple to just enter the keys, or take the receiver to my computer and just update the files, but eventually this got pretty annoying.
You really can get free satellite TV on your PC. It's fairly easy and far less tedious then going out and spending 500 dollars. Best part about it is that there aren't any monthly fees. I searched online on how to get Free Satellite TV for PC a while back. What I came across was an amazing program. The power of this program is ridiculous; you can get all the best channels and programming within about 2 minutes.
