Many people are curious to find out about the revolutionary software that is satellite TV for PC. As this is the case I felt it was time I laid out the pros and cons of the service and revealed what it really is all about!
There has been a huge conspiracy over the past few years about being able to watch Satellite TV on your PC. The truth is that you can, but which service you choose to view the channels is what is key. There are many services out there, some claim to be free however these services usually end up spamming your Internet Explorer with endless pop-ups and/or viruses. By all means try the free ones out for yourself but you have been warned!
Instead if you are going to choose a service make sure you use a reliable source, one that has a reputable review and good feedback from other users. Now on to the pros and cons of satellite TV for PC:
The Pros:
- The service is a heck of a lot cheaper than mainstream satellite TV services
- No extra hardware or TV cards required as the channels are streamed through your Internet connection
- Works anywhere in the world
- A one off fee - no monthly charges
- Thousands of channels to watch from all over the world
- Simple access, and no satellite dishes are needed to be installed into your home!
The Cons:
- If you choose an unreliable service you may find unwanted adware and spyware installed on your PC
- Some services don't offer what they say and incur monthly charges so ensure that the service you choose is from a reliable source!
